Delete your MoonSlate data

By Sirat Labs

Sirat Labs runs no servers for MoonSlate and never receives your notes, so there is nothing stored with us to delete. Your data lives on your phone and, if you turned on backup, in your own Google Drive. These steps remove it from both.

Delete data on your phone

  • Delete notes in MoonSlate. They go to Trash (and leave Trash for good after 30 days). Then empty Trash to delete them now.
  • Or uninstall MoonSlate, which removes all its local data.

Delete your Google Drive backup

  1. In MoonSlate, open Settings › Backup and sync › Sign out.
  2. Open drive.google.com and delete the MoonSlate folder (your notes, folders and images).
  3. Empty Drive's Bin.

Remove MoonSlate's access to your Google account

Go to myaccount.google.com/permissions, choose MoonSlate, then Delete all connections.

Android device backup

Android may keep an automatic device backup in your Google account. You manage it under Google Account › Data & privacy, or in Android Settings › Google › Backup.

What is deleted and what is kept

  • Deleted: all your notes, folders, checklists and images.
  • Kept: nothing by Sirat Labs. There is no retention period.
